Description
When the new medication reconciliation requirements go into effect on July 1, will you be ready? Participate in this session and stay up to date with what The Joint Commission has in store for upcoming surveys.
- Describe the most common Joint Commission medication-related standards and National Patient Safety Goals (NPSG) that were scored non-compliant on hospital surveys in 2010 and the reasons why.
- Discuss new requirements for The Joint Commissions medication related standards.
- List the new medication reconciliation requirements that go into effect July 1, 2011.
