James M. Hoffman is the Medication Outcomes and Safety Officer in the Pharmaceutical Department at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. His position is focused on medication use policy, medication safety, quality improvement, and leadership of research pharmacy services. He received the Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy Degrees from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. In addition, he received a Masters Degree in pharmacy administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed a residency in pharmacy administration and a fellowship in outcomes research at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Hoffman is a board certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), and he currently serves on the editorial board of the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP).
