- Apply strategies for effective management of plasmid mediated Gram-negative resistance and chromosomal Gram-negative resistance.
- Apply strategies to maximize "dose optimization" in the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America Guidelines for Developing an Institutional Program to Enhance Antimicrobial Stewardship.
- Design methods to prevent the progression of Gram-negative beta-lactamses from TEM-1 to Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenamases.
- Given a case, apply criteria to select the best of two potential methods for initiating an antimicrobial stewardship program in a community versus a university affiliated hospital.
