Rafael Saenz,
PharmD, MS, Pharmacy Operations Manager,
University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
Dr. Saenz is an Instructor with the University of Pittsburgh (UP) School of Pharmacy and an Operations Manager within the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Pharmacy. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the Medical College of Virginia/ Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in 2003. In 2005, he received a Masters of Science in Health System Pharmacy Administration from the University of Wisconsin while completing the combined Residency/ Masters Degree Program in Health System Pharmacy Administration from the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.
Rafael currently manages the Unit Based Clinical Pharmacy Program at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, is program coordinator for the University of Pittsburgh 2 year combined Masters Degree/ Pharmacy Practice Management Residency program, and is a consultant and Operations Manager for UPMCs Mediterranean Institute for Transplantation and Advanced Specialized Therapies (ISMETT) in Palermo, Italy and Beacon Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Rafael is an active member of both the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Pennsylvania Society of Health System Pharmacists (PSHP). He currently serves as President for the Western Pennsylvania Society of Health System Pharmacists, and is a member of the PSHP Board of Directors. Rafael is currently serving ASHP as the Chair of the Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers Programming Committee and as Chair of the Council for Education and Workforce Development.

Lindsey R. Kelley, Pharm.D., M.S., is a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and a two-year specialty residency and Masters in Social, Administrative, and Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview; both in Minneapolis, MN. She recently moved to Pennsylvania where she serves as a Manager of Pharmacy Operations at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Presbyterian Shadyside. She recently served as the Chair of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) New Practitioner Forum Executive Committee as well as liaison to the New Practitioner Forum Professional Practice Affairs Advisory Group. She is a member of the ASHP Section Advisory Group on Manager Development and the ASHP Membership Development Advisory Group.
