Graduated from University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy in 2006. Completed fellowship in Neonatal Pharmacotherapy at The Women's Hospital of Greensboro under Dr. Peter Gal and Dr. J. Laurence Ransom in 2008. Currently clinical pharmacist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Peter Gal,

Degrees include: BS Pharmacy, St. John's University, NY 1975; Pharm.D, SUNY at Buffalo, 1977. Has practiced in neonatal ICU since 1977. In 1986, created and is Director of the Neonatal Pharmacology Research Laboratory at Moses Cone Health System. In 1992, created and is Director of the Neonatal Pharmacotherapy Fellowship at Women,s Hospital, Moses Cone Health System in Greensboro, NC. Received numerous awards for clinical practice including Clinical Practice Award from ACCP in 1990, Pharmacist of the Year from NCSHP in 1995, and Richard Helms Award for Excellence in Pharmacy Practice in 2008. Fellow in ASHP and ACCP. Authored several publications in pharmacy and medical journals, textbook chapters, and monographs. Several of these were related to management of neonatal seizures. Also serves as reviewer for many journals and on the editorial board for Annals of Pharmacotherapy and Journal of Pedaiatric Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Research interests include neonatal pharmacotherapy, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics, with a particular focus on individualized therapy. Membership in several pharmacy organizations including ASHP, ACCP, and PPAG.
