Lois Parker has worked as a pharmacist in the pediatric ICU at a 900 bed teaching hospital for 16 years, and also has experience working in general pediatrics. In addition, Lois has been the administrator of her hospitals ACPE accredited continuing education program for 16 years. In that role, she planned and executed many programs and has served as an ACPE filed reviewer for several years. She served as an MPA at the 2007 and 2008 MCM and presented at pearls sessions. Lois will also serve as a MPA at the MCM 2009 for another session sponsored by the Section of Inpatient Care Practitioners.

Lois Finstein Parker is currently a Senior Attending Pharmacist at Msssachusetts General Hospital at Boston, where she practices in the pediatric ICU. In June 2009, she was appointed Pediatric Pharmacy Team Lead. She received her B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. She is the administrator of the MGH Department of Pharmacy's ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education program, and for the past three years, has been a member of the Educational Steering Committee through ASHP's Section of Inpatient Care Practitioners.
