Dr. Joel Farley, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the University of North Carolina's Eshelman School of Pharmacy. He received his pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1997 and earned his Ph.D. in Social, Administrative, and Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota in 2006. Dr. Farley's primary research focuses on improving pharmaceutical care in vulnerable patients and informing effective pharmaceutical policy decision making. Dr. Farley was the recipient of a 2007 ASHP Junior Investigator Research Grant entitled Anti-osteoporosis medication trends and determinants in the U.S. ambulatory population from 1996 to 2004.
