Kevin Clauson,
PharmD, Associate Professor,
Nova Southeastern University
Kevin A. Clauson, Pharm.D., received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Memphis and completed a Fellowship in Natural Product Research at the University of Missouri Kansas City. He is currently Associate Professor, Pharmacy Practice, College of Pharmacy and Adjunct Associate Professor, College of Osteopathic Medicine Biomedical Informatics Program at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Clauson has presented at national and international venues focused on the topics of consumer health informatics, dietary supplements, and drug information. His work has appeared in peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and has been covered in sources such as New Scientist, MSN.com and BBC Radio Case Notes. He has also been a recipient of a number of grants and contracts and has served the profession in capacities including: Public Health Informatics Panel for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), US Pharmacopeia Special Meeting on Drug Information, and as Item Writer for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX).

Todd Eury has been part of the pharmacy technology industry for over 5 years. He came from a 13 year career in the telecommunications industry specific to IT & Database infrastructure outsourcing. He started out as the sales director for a closed door pharmacy software system dedicated to LTCP called FrameworkLTC and increased market share by 400%. Todd created the Pharmacy Technology Resource in May of 2006. The PTR is an organization dedicated to the Independent, Community, Institutional, and Specialty Pharmacy searching for solutions and a much faster ROI of their software and technology investments. Todd consults with pharmacies on their existing and new technology implementation design and operational workflow. Todd assists independents better research and become educated on new cutting edge software and processes and is dedicated to the creation of profitable synergies between advanced Pharmacy Technology and Service leaders to ensure the independents gain the best information available to resource the most advanced technologies and services in the market. Todd is teamed with KeyCentrix and the Flagship Pharmacy Software System RxKey.

Daniel Sands,
MD, MPH, Director of Medical Informatics,
Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group
Danny Sands is senior medical informatics director Cisco's Internet Business Solutions Group, where he provides both internal and external health IT leadership and helps key customers with business and clinical transformation using IT. His prior position was chief medical officer for Zix Corporation, a leader in secure e-mail and e-prescribing, and before that he spent 13 years at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he developed and implemented numerous systems to improve clinical care delivery and patient engagement.
He has earned degrees from Brown University, Ohio State University, Harvard School of Public Health, and trained at Boston City Hospital and Bostons Beth Israel Hospital. Dr. Sands currently holds an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School and maintains a primary care practice in which he makes extensive use of health IT.
Sands is the recipient of numerous health IT awards, has been elected to fellowship in both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Medical Informatics, and is the founding co-chair of the Society for Participatory Medicine.
