Luci Power,
BS, MS, Senior Pharmacy Consultant,
Power Enterprises
Luci Power is an independent consultant and lecturer with Power Enterprises in San Francisco, California. She was a Senior Pharmacist, Manager, at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center for the IV Additive Service and Parenteral Support Service before retiring in 2007. Luci is a recognized expert in the areas of sterile compounding and safe handling of hazardous drugs with numerous presentations and publications in these areas. Luci is the primary author of the 2006 ASHP Guidelines on Handling Hazardous Drugs, lead author of the 1990 ASHP Technical Assistance Bulletin on Handling Hazardous Drugs and a contributing author of the 2004 NIOSH Alert: Preventing Occupational Exposure to Antineoplastic and Other Hazardous Drugs in Health Care Settings.

Rita K. Jew, PharmD is Executive Director of Pharmacy & Clinical Nutrition Services at Children's Hospital of Orange County, where she provides leadership in institutional drug use policy, medication safety initiatives, pharmacy-related technology and automation, implementation of CPOE, quality improvement initiatives and educational activities to pharmacy, nursing, medical and other professional staff. She is an established neonatal and pediatric practitioner and is actively involved in local, state and national pharmacy societies. She received her PharmD from the University of California at San Francisco and completed a Residency in Clinical Pharmacy at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Kevin Jones,
RPh, MBA, Director of Pharmacy,
Primary Children's Medical Center
Kevin Jones received his Bachelor's of Pharmacy and his Master's of Business Administration from the University of Wyoming. He has been the pharmacy director at 5 different hospitals, the latest being Primary Children's Medical Center, where he has been the Director for the last 14 years. Kevin has been involved in all facets of hospital pharmacy management and is a member of Intermountain Healthcare's Pharmacy Executive Team, System Wide Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and Pharmacy Director's Committee. Kevin has been a recipiant of ISMP's CHEERS award, PPAG's Best Practice award and the Linda Shields Quality award. Kevin has been involved in the implementation of a number of different automated pharmacy systems including 2 different robot projects. Kevin is adjunct faculty at the University of Utah's School of Pharmacy, Midwestern University's Glendale campus and the University of Southern Nevada's School of Pharmacy.

Grace Magedman,
PharmD, Pharmacy Operations Manager,
Children's Hospital of Orange County
Grace Magedman, Pharm.D. received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California at San Francisco in 2002 and is the Pharmacy Operations Manager at Childrens Hospital of Orange County. Grace has played a key role in the implementation of numerous technologies within the department, including CPOE, high-speed unit dose packager, and IV automation.
