Philip Brummond,
Pharm.D., M.S., Manager, University Hospital and Cardiovascular Center Pharmacy Services,
University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers
Phil Brummond is the Manager of University Hospital and Cardiovascular Center Pharmacy Services at the University of Michigan Hospital. Phil recently completed a 2 year administrative residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, while pursuing a Masters degree in Health System Pharmacy Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Phil received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota. While at Minnesota, Phil was actively involved in student government and served as the Pharmacy College Board President and also served on the board of the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly. Phil has served on ASHPs Council on Education and Workforce Development in 2008 and is currently serving on the Section Advisory Group for Leadership Development through the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers. Phils practice and research interests include pharmacy administrative practice, medication use safety, pharmacy automation and technology and leadership development.

Nannette Berensen,
PharmD, BCPS, Director of Pharmacy Services,
Intermountain Medical Center
Nannette Berensen is the Director of Pharmacy Services at Intermountain Medical Center. She received a bachelor of science degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Utah in 1986. She received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy in 1994. She completed a specialized residency in drug information practice and pharmacotherapy at the National Institutes of Health. She received her master of business administration from the University of Utah in 2009. Nannette is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist.
Prior to joining Intermountain Healthcare, Nannette was a faculty member at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). During her tenure at MUSC, she trained 13 specialty residents in drug information practice and enjoyed precepting many pharmacy students and residents. She continues to precept pharmacy residents and students at Intermountain Medical Center.
Nannette has lectured throughout the United States in the areas of drug information practice, formulary management, biostatistics, evidence-based decision making, and teaching effectiveness. Dr. Berensen received the ASHP Foundation Pharmacy Practice Research Award in 2001. She was named Preceptor of the Year in 1996, 2002, and 2005. Nannette was also awarded as Professor of the Year in 2003. In 2006, Dr. Berensen was nominated for the Health Sciences Foundation Educator Mentor Award. She is an active member of USHP, ASHP, and ACCP.

Dr. Phil Brummond, PharmD, MS, Manager of University Hospital and Cardiovascular Center Pharmacy Services, University of Michigan Health System
Michael D. Sanborn, M.S., FASHP serves as the Corporate Vice President of Cardiovascular Services for the Baylor Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. He oversees cardiac services for all Baylor entities, with a focus on improving patient outcomes, medication use, program development, marketing, clinical research, and contracting. Sanborn's previous experience includes pharmacy leadership positions in health-systems and academic medical centers. He received his degrees from the University of Kansas and completed an accredited practice residency and advanced administrative residency.
Sanborn has held many elected and appointed positions and has chaired the ASHP Council on Professional Affairs, served on the Council of Administrative Affairs, House of Delegates, and has held elected offices for several state and local societies. Most recently he completed a two-year term as President of the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists and is currently Chair of the Patient Safety and Quality Committee for the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council. He has received numerous awards and honors, including ASHP's Distinguished Leadership Award. Mike has presented and published in a variety of areas, including innovative drug therapies, pharmacy automation, clinical pharmacy practice, medication safety, leadership, and practice management.

Philip Schneider,
MS, Clinical Professor and Associate Dean,
University of Arizona College of Pharmacy
Philip J. Schneider is Clinical Professor and Associate Dean for Academic and Professional Affairs for the University of Arizona, College of Pharmacy at the Phoenix Biomedical campus. In this position, he provides oversight, development, and administration of educational initiatives including teaching, service and scholarship activities at the newly created Phoenix Biomedical Campus.
He received a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin, and M.S. in Hospital Pharmacy from The Ohio State University and received a Certificate of Residency from The Ohio State University Hospitals. During his 38 years of professional and academic service, he has published more than 170 articles and abstracts in professional and scientific journals, 38 book chapters, edited seven books and given more than 500 contributed or invited presentations in 22 countries and the US. He has been President of both ASHP and the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrution (A.S.P.E.N.), and is currently Chairman of the Board of Pharmaceutical Practice of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). He was the recipient of the Donald E. Francke Medal in 2006 for significant international contributions to hospital pharmacy and the Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award in 2008, which is considered to be the highest honor of American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Jennifer Tryon,
MS, PharmD, Assistant Director of Pharmacy,
Oregon Health and Science University
Jennifer Tryon is an Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Oregon Health and Science University Hospitals and Clinics in Portland, Oregon. In her role she works with three Operations Managers and one Technician Manager to oversee Inpatient Operations, Clinical Operations, Medication Safety, and Quality Compliance. Jennifer completed a two year residency in Health-System Administration and received her Masters degree at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, and is a graduate from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. She remains active in local, state, and national pharmacy associations, and is passionate about pharmacy resident, intern, and student learning.
