Angela T. Cassano, Pharm.D, BCPS
President, Pharmfusion Consulting, LLC-Midlothian, Virginia
A graduate of Campbell University School of Pharmacy, Dr. Cassano completed two residencies at the Virginia Commonwealth University, including a joint specialty residency in adult medicine and pediatrics. During her career she has held positions as a hospital clinical pharmacist, clinical assistant director, and Assistant Health System Director of Quality Assurance and Drug Safety.
Dr. Cassano established Pharmfusion Consulting in 2005 as an independent consulting company assisting primarily health-system pharmacies with improving pharmacy operations through clinical expertise and practice. The company focuses on quality and regulatory assurance, medication safety and technology, clinical programs and operations solutions.

Anthony Cassano,
MD, Chair, Division of Thoracic Surgery,
Virginia Commonwealth University
Dr. Cassano is currently the Director of Thoracic Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He obtained a BS degeein pharmacy from Rutgers Univeristy. He then worked for Eli Lilly and company as a sales representative. After working for two years he returned to UNDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey where he worked as a community pharmacist while studying for his MD degree. Dr. Cassano then spent the next six years in General Surgery training at the Medical College of Virginia. To further his career he moved to Philadelphia to undertake a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital. He was in private practice CT surgery in Dayton, Ohio before returning to Richmond where he currently lives with his wife and daughter.

Michael Cawley,
PharmD, RRT, Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy,
Philadelphia College of Pharmacy / University of the Sciences in Philadelphia
Michael J. Cawley, PharmD., BS., RRT, CPFT is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
Dr. Cawley is recognized for his leadership within the pharmacy profession including a member of both the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). He is also a well published author, medical consultant, pharmaceutical advisory board member and editorial reviewer for several biomedical journals including Pharmacotherapy, Annals of Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care Medicine and editorial board member of Annals of Pharmacotherapy (Critical Care Section). He is also recognized as an outstanding educator and professional speaker and has served in this capacity in speaking for pharmaceutical industry as well as national and international conferences and professional meetings. Dr. Cawley has practiced as a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for 13 years at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pennsylvania. He is also credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist in which he practiced in critical care for 12 years.
Dr. Cawley graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science receiving both his Baccalaureate and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees respectively. He completed a post-doctorate specialty residency in Surgical Critical Care Pharmacy Practice at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in conjunction with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA.

Bruce Mueller,
PharmD, FCCP, Professor and Chair,
University of Michigan College of Pharmacy
Dr. Bruce A. Mueller is a Professor of Pharmacy and Chair, Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan. He also serves as a Pharmacy Assistant Director of the Department of Pharmacy Services, University Hospital, University of Michigan Health Systems. He received his baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin in 1984 and completed Doctor of Pharmacy and postdoctoral residency from University of Texas in 1988. He joined the University of Michigan in 2000 after serving on the faculty at the Purdue University School of Pharmacy and Pharmacal Sciences in the Indiana University School of Medicine since 1988.
Dr. Mueller has concentrated his teaching, research, and service on patients with kidney disease. In recognition for his research in this area, he received the 1998 Tony and Mary Hulman Excellence in Health Science Research Award from Indiana Public Health Foundation. He was made a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) in 1996. He formed the Renal Replacement Therapy Kinetics Study Group at the University of Michigan in 2001. This group is dedicated to conducting research in the treatment of patients receiving dialysis.
