Dr. Stoner is currently the Chair of the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administration with the UMKC School of Pharmacy in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Stoner served as a psychiatric pharmacy specialty residency program director for 10 years at the Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Patrick J. Bryant, Pharm.D. is Director of the Drug Information Center and Clinical Professor at University of Missouri Kansas City School of Pharmacy. Prior to his academic career, he spent 15 years in clinical research, licensing and development, and competitive intelligence within the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Bryant led the conceptualization, design, development, and implementation of a 5 credit hour course teaching the use of a novel 5-step evidence-based medicine process to make clinical decisions. This course received honorable mention from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Innovations in Teaching Competition. He led the development and implementation of the ASHP Accredited Specialty Drug Information Residency, Natural Product Information Fellowship, Competitive Technical Intelligence Fellowship, and Drug Information Fellowship programs. These programs have created over 15 post-docs practicing in retail, academic, private business, and industry positions to date.
Dr. Bryant has focused his scholarly activities in the drug information and competitive intelligence areas. He has made multiple presentations both nationally/internationally and published articles and book chapters on these subjects. He is the lead editor and author of several chapters in the book entitled, The Pharmacists Guide to Evidence-Based Medicine for Clinical Decision Making published by American Society of Health-System Pharmacists in 2009. Dr. Bryant is also the lead author of the chapter entitled, "Literature Evaluation II: Beyond the Basic"s in Malone PM, Kier KL, Stanovich JE, eds. Drug Information: A Guide for Pharmacists, 4th ed., 2009.

Cynthia Mascarenas,
PharmD, MS, Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Psychiatry,
South Texas Veterans Health Care System
Dr. Mascarenas graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas College of Pharmacy in May 2001. She then spent two years completing a Master of Science in Pharmacy in conjunction with an ASHP accredited Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency under the mentorship of Dr. Larry Ereshefsky. Upon completion of her post-doctoral training, Dr. Mascarenas worked as a clinical pharmacologist at the San Antonio State Hospital Clinical Research Unit, where she functioned as Principle Investigator and as co-investigator on various research projects. In November 2003, she accepted a position at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Psychiatry.
Today, she continues to work at the VA as a psychiatric clinical pharmacy specialist. Dr. Mascarenas is also the Director of the Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System, in addition to her teaching and research responsibilities as Clinical Assistant Professor with The University of Texas College of Pharmacy and The University of Texas Health Science Center, as well as Adjunct Faculty with University of Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy.
