Umbreen Murtaza completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan. She then went on to complete her pharmacy practice residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and her specialty residency in emergency medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital. Dr. Murtaza is currently the clinical specialist in emergency medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Nicole Acquisto, PharmD, Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Pharmacy Specialty Resident, University of Rochester
Nicole M. Acquisto, Pharm.D. is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in 2005 from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She then went on to complete an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency at Kaleida Health in Buffalo, NY. After practicing as a clinical staff pharmacist at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Dr. Acquisto completed an ASHP-accredited Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Specialty Residency at the University of Rochester in 2008.
Dr. Michelle Caruso is a clinical pharmacist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, specializing in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Caruso received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and a PGY2 Pediatric Specialty Residency, both at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Jennett received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy, in Albany, New York, in 2004. She completed ASHP-accredited residencies in pharmacy practice and emergency medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital and currently works as a clinical pharmacy specialist in emergency medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital. She is actively involved in clinical and academic emergency medicine, toxicology, and emergency preparedness.
Nancy MacDonald is a Clinical Coordinator for Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She received her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Shenandoah University. She worked as a clinical pharmacist at Henry Ford Hospital in the intensive care unit and the emergency room before becoming a clinical coordinator. She is currently involved with the training of new pharmacists, pharmacy residents and students. She maintains a clinical practice in internal medicine and the emergency department.
Kevin Rynn, Pharm.D., DABAT, Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Administration, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy/Rutgers The State University of New Jersey
Dr. Rynn obtained his BS in Pharmacy from Rutgers University and his PharmD from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. He completed his general pharmacy residency at Alleghany General Hospital and his Specialized Residency and Fellowship in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Toxicology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is board certified in clinical toxicology by the American Board of Applied Toxicology. Dr. Rynn has been faculty at the University of Illinois and a clinical pharmacy specialist in Emergency Medicine at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. Currently he is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. As part of this faculty appointment Dr. Rynn serves as the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Emergency Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He is active in both pre-hospital and hospital emergency settings.
