Description
Challenges often occur when “left brain” facility directors, engineers, construction administrators, and contractors collaborate in teams with “right brain” creative designers and executives. This session explores how strong leadership based on the application of Lean principles creates a win-win for an interdisciplinary, “right-brain” and “left-brain” project team, who collaboratively works in support of the owner’s strategic intent. This session will enable you to:
Apply Lean principles when selecting project teams.
Describe selection methods that lead to better team performance, such as identifying and reducing synergistic waste.
Establish clear, static, and frequently measured goals for right-brain/left-brain teams to achieve alignment.
Describe rolling team selection processes and effective training methods.
