This session will provide a detailed look at the many codes and standards that health care engineers must be familiar with to have a successful, code-compliant facility. We will highlight priority areas by citing specific codes (for example, NFPA 101: Life Safety Code®, NFPA 99: Health Care Facilities Code, and the FGI Guidelines for Design and Construction), providing information that will allow attendees to return to complete a thorough readiness assessment for their organizations.
