Bill is a registered architect with over 33 years of experience in administration, planning, and design of healthcare projects. He is partner at Matthei & Colin Associates since 1989 and joined the firm in 1978. Bill has extensive experience with healthcare commissions regarding comprehensive facility renovations, specialized departments renovations, and new facility construction. As an executive, his expertise includes ambulatory care centers, replacement hospitals, women/childrens facilities, satellite primary care and community health centers, medical office buildings and specialized departments such as radiology, emergency medicine, outpatient diagnostic and testing and specialized nursing units. Bill is a frequent speaker at board retreats on strategic planning and design due to his vast experience. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), International Congress of Building Officials (ICC), and a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).

Randall is the partner-in-charge of design at Matthei & Colin Associates since 2003 and joined the firm in 1985. He has over 24 years of experience in architectural planning, design, and project management in healthcare and institutional facilities. As a senior leader and designer, he presents creative solutions for complex projects due to his extensive and diverse experience with replacement facilities, psychiatric facilities, ambulatory care facilities, primary care centers, operating room additions, ED, obstetrical renovations and more. Randall specializes in programming, master planning, and design for a wide spectrum of healthcare environments including new construction and renovations projects. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). His recent presentations include Palos Community Hospital, Edward Hospital and Health Services, Advocate Health, Holland Hospital, and Meritus Medical Center.
