Glenn Grube, AIA, Director of Strategic Engineering, New York Presbyterian Hospital

Glenn A. Grube joined New York-Presbyterian Hospital in early 2008 as Director of Strategic Engineering, within the Office of Corporate Engineering, where he focuses on the preparation and management of annual and long-term capital planning for infrastructure at all NYP facilities. His responsibilities include identifying and implementing capital projects; project management and master planning in conjunction with the Offices of Facilities Development and Capital Asset Planning; and developing and implementing integrated facilities management information systems. He also manages NYP�s FACE (Facilities Aesthetic Condition Enhancement) Program for interior renewal, and the Energy Program, where strategic planning and projects identify energy-efficient technology and conservation strategies. Prior to joining NYP, Mr. Grube worked independently as an owner�s representative and project management consultant, offering a range of services from space programming through design management to construction administration. He led prominent corporate clients in the banking, high-technology, and wholesale distribution sectors to successful completion of a wide variety of project types. Throughout his academic curriculum and professional career, he has maintained a particular interest in energy conservation and green design. Mr. Grube is a graduate of the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College, and holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Registered Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering.
