Description
Recently, changes have been made to the inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements of fire protection and life safety features and enforcement by AHJs. In this session, you will learn the differences between the inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, and service of different features as ASHE premiers its new resources for the inspection and testing of fire protection and life safety features, including fire alarms, automatic sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, extinguishers, exit signs, battery pack lighting, dampers, and doors. This session will enable you to:
* State the new code changes for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection and life safety features.
* Explain the requirements, differences, and qualifications of personnel inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing fire protection and life safety features.
