In addition, not all facilities have experts available to help determine what is necessary to achieve compliance. This session will discuss the pitfalls and provide compliance tips for requirements both within and outside the typical scope of the Joint Commission’s Environment of Care. This session will enable you to:
* Identify the EPA health care HazMat requirements. * State the items that need to be addressed in order to meet the Joint Commission’s HazMat requirements.
Assess their overall hazardous materials compliance.
Identify EPA requirements applicable to their organization.
Update their facility's compliance with The Joint Commission hazardous materials requirements.
