Description
This presentation will focus on the "how to" process of developing and maintaining a viable Life Safety Master Plan for your facility. The development of the planning team, your leadership role in the process, surveying your facilities, identifying life safety components and their current compliance with relevant codes and standards, graphically composing the Life Safety Master Plan in hard copy and electronic form, and keys to keeping your plan current and accurate will all be discussed. Additionally, attendees will learn how to effectively communicate their Life Safety Master Plan to their organization's staff and administration and to the authorities having jurisdiction. This session enables attendees to:
- Create a clear, comprehensive and understandable Life Safety Master Plan (LSMP)
- Leverage the LSMP as a tool for facilities management, emergency preparedness and quality improvement
- Communicate your facility's commitment to safety and code compliance more effectively to the Authorities Having Jurisdiction and your own executive team
