Description
This presentation will summarize the ever increasing trend to curtail engineering infrastructure investment and the potential large looming risks associated with these trends with respect to patient safety and financial loss. A cursory review of the Scientific Approach to risk analysis defined as Failure Mode Affect Analysis (FMEA) and Facility Condition Index (FCI) will be discussed in detail. This session enables attendees to:
- Understand and apply, to their facilities, the Failure Mode Affect Analysis (FMEA) process
- Understand and apply, to their facilities, the Facilities Condition Index (FCI) process
- Develop, as part of their planning process, a Critical Risk Investment Priorities Decision Matrix for their unique facility
