Mr. Holzen is responsible for regulatory compliance, and the departments environmental float pool. He has over 20 years of healthcare related experience with his last nine years at Texas Children's Hospital. Mr.Holzen is a member of the National Fire Protection Association - Health Care Section and a regional board member of the Texas Association of Healthcare Facility Managers in Region 4 and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering.

Description
This session will describe one hospitals process for Continuous Services Readiness for Joint Commission surveys and how they developed mock surveys, building tours, maintenance data reviews, and data process improvement. This session will enable attendees to:
- Assess their Environment of Care for compliance with the Joint Commission standards
- Learn about how the CSR process gets you ready for the survey
- Review examples of data collection instruments that were described by Joint Commission Resources as an industry best practice
