Matt Wood, Project Director,

Matt has 18 years experience in healthcare preconstruction, construction, and real estate development. He has a wide range of project management and program management experience ranging from on-site project manager to project executive overseeing multiple projects. Matt holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech with graduate emphasis in construction management. Matt is a member of ASHE, the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association, and the Central Virginia Healthcare Executive Group. This is Matt's fifth speaking engagement at an ASHE conference.

Description
This session will offer tools for choosing (and then applying) the most suitable delivery method for individual construction projects. Attendees will also hear a clear picture of what each method is best designed to do (and best asked not to do) the ability to weigh project elements against these indicators, and distinct project strategies once a choice is made. This session enables attendees to:
- Determine the pros and cons of each construction delivery system
- Choose the most effective construction delivery system for an individual project
- Create effective bid strategies for different delivery systems.
