Bob Johnson is the Director of Engineering Services at North Memorial Healthcare in Robbinsdale, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis. Bob has worked for North Memorial for 28 years in various positions including Manager of Biomedical Engineering.

Jerry Turner is a licensed architect, a member of the AIA and ACHA. He has been involved in developing Facility Assessment studies for over 30 years and has been working with North Memorial Hospital for the past five years adopting a computerized database management system and assessment process. The assessment process employs established best practices for facility management personnel. Jerry has presented this educational topic to the ASHE Range 6, Arrowhead Association.

Description
This session will focus on how to present facilities capital requests in formats that will reap the great results and secure the C-Suite approvals managers need. This session will enable attendees to:
- Understand the basis for determining rates of deterioration for specific components, systems, and buildings
- Learn about the basis for predicting condition of components, systems, buildings, and building groups
- Determine current and project future budget needs and work activities
- Used to plan and prioritize projects, evaluate alternate M & R strategies, establish M & R trigger points.
- How to present facilities capital requests in formats that will reap the greatest results and secure the C-Suite approvals managers need.
