This session will discuss incident management strategies for a chemical release and/or other emergency situation. Attendees will learn different types of spills and how to identify them; what information (such as Material Safety Data Sheets and chemical information) first responders need and how to best provide it; how to develop a detail, multi-step notification plan; and the importance of documenting all communications related to an incident. This session enables attendees to:
- Prepare a solid incident management strategy, which can mitigate exposure and reduce risk
- Attain the tools and knowledge necessary to properly prepare for/respond to a HazMat incident.
