Description
Learning Objectives
• Understand the function and utilization of the assessment tools of automated technology for evaluating crown preparations
• Understand the potential preclinical and clinical applications of the assessment technology
• Understand the results of pilot implementation programs at the University of Michigan and University of Tennessee with the automated assessment technology
Sirona Dental has developed an innovative, computerbased assessment program to provide objective evaluation of cavity preparations in an efficient manner. Students can accomplish the data acquisition process and receive immediate feedback as they practice. The automated process significantly reduces the amount of faculty time required to grade preclinic exercises.
