Learning Objectives
• Compare and contrast adult learning principles with those of inclusive teaching
• Engage in critical thinking around your own teaching style in relation to characteristic features of inclusive teaching
• Develop a personal position statement on inclusive teaching based on inclusive teaching principles
• Develop a strategy to ensure your teaching is inclusive

Students have a right to feel like they belong. Educators who create a learning environment where the spirit of diversity is felt are practicing inclusive teaching. Participants will focus on teaching so all are recognized and no one is excluded because of his or her uniqueness.
