Description
Waters Corporation, Milford, MA, United States.
High Performance Liquid Chromatography, the predominant analytical tool used by the pharmaceutical industry and others, is a consumer of organic solvents and generator of toxic wastes. Recent advances in chromatographic efficiency through the use of ultra small separation particles (UPLC®) can reduce this waste generation by up to 95% while increasing analytical resolution, speed, and sensitivity. This presentation will explain the chemistry and physics of this technology.
