Even good doctors may be sued for malpractice. This lecture familiarizes the eye care practitioner with the pitfalls that may result in a lawsuit, as well as actions that can be taken to avoid them. Various types of diagnosis errors as well as the most important legal doctrines with which the practitioner should be familiar are discussed.
