Description
It is implicit for our services to have quality plans inclusive of quality improvement. When errors are made we trigger root cause analyses which lead to corrective action plans. Often these errors involve personnel and services outside of blood banking and transfusion medicine. For a truly effective corrective action plan we must engage these personnel beyond filing reports and completing paperwork, in teaming together to create change. In this program we will discuss some effective methods for true engagement with clinical service which will result in positive outcomes.
