Description
Patients rarely read the textbooks, and dealing with the unusual and uncommon patients and scenarios that arise in a therapeutic apheresis service can be difficult. This session will equip participants with tools and knowledge needed to deal with situations such as requests for uncategorized indications, unusual clinical presentations and handling the uncommon complications and events that can occur during a therapeutic procedure. The speakers will present practical steps to handling these challenges and will use cases and clinical scenarios to augment the learning.
