Description
Diplomate of Laboratory Management (DLM) is a certification that is offered by the ASCP Board of Certification. With options for education in laboratory management, this certification is a goal for development of lab directors, managers and supervisors. These speakers will define what the DLM is and how a lab professional can benefit by attaining this certification on a professional and personal level.
- Define what a lab professional is able to impact their career with a Diplomate in Laboratory Management (DLM)
- Determine appropriate educational resources to bridge gaps in managerial competencies and attaining a DLM
- Promote the laboratory management professional by understanding the unique set of competencies needed to be a successful manager or administrator and the knowledge necessary to successfully pass the ASCP DLM certification
