Description
Education committee members of the Indiana State Association of Blood Banks (ISABB) will share their journey of creating a culture of communication change in the interactions between nursing and lab departments. This lecture and event review presentation will outline the ISABB process to create an instructional climate, selection of speakers and topics, evaluation and feedback, and outcomes leading to continued growth and expansion of an annual symposium. The session will conclude with a case review of a hospital's implementation of lessons learned by staff attending the symposium.
