Current Status of Healthcare Reform: Innovative Models to Address the Accountable Care Act,,
Description
The need to advance health, improve the experience of care, and manage per capita cost has never been more apparent than with the passage of the Accountable Care Act. Unless costs are more effectively managed, universal coverage will not be sustainable by either the private or public sector. This session will present innovations in clinical and business models, infrastructure and leadership that will bring greater value and sustainability to health and health care.
-
Analyze the emergence of new clinical and business models and the interplay between them.
-
Discuss the role of leadership in improvement and redesign.
-
Identify first-, second-, and third-curve innovations.
