Blood centers are facing the need to creatively examine business strategies that optimize the assets of the organization. In today's world of fast-moving challenges and opportunity, leaders need to take advantage of key strengths to contain costs. This workshop will examine the approaches of two blood banking organizations in their journey to regionalization. Their explanation will indicate how the four basic approaches of coordination, standardization, centralization and networking were used.
