- Determine the variability in proficiency testing performance, a measure of quality, in a broad sample of laboratories in Africa presently engaged in blood donation screening.
- Evaluate the significance of the discovery of a new Dengue virus lineage in blood donor samples during a recent large Dengue epidemic in Puerto Rico.
- Review prevalence rates, treatment history and disease status of hepatitis C in an Australian cohort of patients with bleeding disorders and potential exposure to contaminated blood products.
