Use of Commerically Available for Component QC Monitoring
Description
This session will present practical methods for using both homegrown and commercial computer software to monitor required blood component quality control processes. Topics will include available statistical methods, component selection and the use of software to aid in evaluating QC results.

LEARNER OUTCOMES:
  • Demonstrate how computer software may be used to aid in evaluating QC results.
  • Discuss methods used to establish a sampling plan.
  • Discuss practical methods for using commercial and homegrown software.
  • Review software requirements.
