The Hospital Clinician and Nursing Perspective
Description
The blood supplier can play a critical role in supporting PBM programs at their customers’ facilities. This workshop will elaborate on methods that both the blood provider as well as blood-center-based physicians can provide that directly support customers' PBM efforts. Additionally, programs and methods described will demonstrate quality improvement for the blood bank and evaluation techniques that can help to improve patient outcomes. The perspectives of the clinician and nursing personnel will also be shared. Tools, tips, methods and techniques will be provided.
