Description
This program will review the epidemiology of TACO, as well as its clinical significance. The current data on mechanisms, particularly in the context of the intensive care unit, will be presented. Strategies to reduce the incidence of TACO will be shown.

  • Explain mitigation strategies for TACO.
  • Recognize the clinical significance of TACO and mechanisms.
  • Review the epidemiology of transfusion-associated circulatory overload (TACO).
