Description
This session will provide an overview of lessons learned from multiple product development experiences in the cell therapy field. Funding sources will be considered for basic science, translational research, and clinical trials. This session will include at least one case study with specific product development experience. Speakers from academic research, cell therapy facilities, and NHLBI will discuss solutions to roadblocks.

Describe the challenges in bench to bedside development of cell therapy and the gaps in support between basic science, translational research, and funding for clinical trials including product supply.
