Description
A new Top Gun class started in 2010! AABB is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic participants to be part of this elite training program committed to motivating and inspiring attendees to become top-notch problem solvers. The 2011 curriculum includes cases from 2010 as well as one new case to create in-flight simulation. Using feedback technology, participants will be part of the action by "pushing the button" to indicate their skills in antibody identification and to compare their approach to other "pilots" in the class. Your goal, at the conclusion of the program, is to be "Top Gun." Are you up for the challenge?

  • Describe how other laboratories approach serologic problems.
  • Determine why specific testing is selected to identify different types of antibodies and to resolve serologic inconsistencies.
  • Utilize efficient and effective tools for resolving unusual serologic findings.
