Description
This session will examine current laboratory practices in the preparation of cryopreserved cord blood units for infusion and how adverse events may be related to differences in preparation methods. Through interactive audience participation, you will learn the current thawing and infusion practices employed by your colleagues. This session will also discuss how to validate your in house thawing procedures and how we might work together to develop common validation protocols in the era of cord blood licensure.
