OBJECTIVES:
- Utilize statistical methods for apheresis platelet quality control.
- Evaluate alternative methods to quantitate residual white blood cells in leukoreduced products.
- Describe methods and strategies to maintain and manage inventory levels, including negative units, uncommon blood types and national inventories.
