Description
The biennial National Blood Collection and Utilization Survey collects detailed information about the collection and use of blood and blood components in the United States. This year additional analyses focus on questions pertaining to donor deferral, hospital utilization, biovigilance, cell therapies, and human tissue.
- Describe differences in methodology for 2009 survey from earlier surveys.
- Discuss hospital utilization in 2007 and 2009 survey years.
- Review trends in blood collection.
