Description
The allocation of blood components in times of severe shortage could present a significant challenge. Various blood operators have worked with their hospital customers to develop a framework for the equitable allocation of labile blood components. In this session, speakers from various countries will discuss: the underlying principles behind their inventory management plans, the process used to develop their plans, the phases of inventory availability, and the specific actions to be taken in various phases of inventory availability.
