Description
This program will present an update to billing the Medicare outpatient for Transfusion Medicine services. Case studies of common as well as uniques scenarios based on billing questions submitted from members will be used to stimulate audience participation in discussing their understanding of current billing requirements. A faculty panel will be utilized in a question and answer portion to assist the participants in properly billing Transfusion Medicine services.
- Describe how to properly bill outpatient Transfusion Medicine services using case-based scenarios with audience participation.
- Review the recent changes to current outpatient billing requirements in Transfusion Medicine.
- Summarize information on how to bill Transfusion Medicine services through question and answer session with course faculty.
