Description
The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) has undertaken a large initiative to transform donor recruitment to increase the registry of volunteer donors and cord blood donors, and to increase the commitment of members on the registry. This session will describe the research used to develop NMDP's new way of engaging the public, through Be The MatchSM. The program will also discuss NMDP's analysis and response to donor safety issues at recruitment and donation.
