Description
This session will be a companion session to Life at the Bench I. It will will focus on day to day quality control problems that bench technologists working in a cell processing lab face everyday. Scenarios of sticky situations will be presented and perspectives from each of the panelists consisting of the technologists, QA, personnel, management and medical directors will provided.

  • Discuss immediate actions, root causes and possible corrective measures for QC problems in the lab.
  • Identify best practice techniques for preventing sticky situations in the laboratory.
  • Review and discuss various quality control issues facing HCT/P laboratories from the technologist, quality assurance personnel, lab administration and medical director perspectives.
