Description
To ensure safe blood component administration, nurses, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and medical technologists must be aware of required best practices for blood component distribution, verification, administration, and documentation. This workshop will discuss current challenges to providing safe transfusions in hospitals and discuss practical strategies for improvement.
