DESCRIPTION
High quality transfusion medicine outcomes exist in many countries of the world. However, the specific approaches and methods used to achieve the same outcomes may differ greatly. This session will look at innovative products, procedures, surveillance methods, recruitment philosophies, and organizational structures that are being used in Europe and the Americas. Understanding how different approaches may be used to successfully address similar challenges sets the stage for thinking ?outside of the box?.
